The Complex Quoting Senior Analyst provides quality professional service that consistently meets or exceeds Company standards of excellence and customer expectations. In partnership with outside sales, inside sales, and merchandising teams, the position acts as primary point of contact for Home Depot Associates requiring assistance closing large and complex pro sales opportunities. Position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual service quality goals and contributes to various related department goals.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 40% – Process quotes with accurate pricing from the supplier network and provide quotes to Home Depot Associates within 2 hours after receipt
  • 20% – Assist Home Depot associates with quoting process and questions related to complex quotes and orders via phone and email
  • 10% – Follow up with HD supplier network to receive quotes back within stated SLA
  • 10% – Review requests for quotes, submit requests to vendor network for pricing, and escalates complex requests for proper handling
  • 10% – Effectively and routinely balance multiple customers and tasks
  • 10% – Meet or exceed scorecard requirements for productivity and quality

This role reports to the HDQC Senior Manager, Complex Quoting
This position has no direct reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements: 
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light article 
 
Preferred Qualifications:  

  • College Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of standard practices and terminology commonly found in the construction and structural engineering industries
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Typing proficiency
